Saphira & Shae

Saphira just came into heat! She will be retired after this litter also! I want to keep back a nice female from her for breeding. But am struggling with which male to breed her to! Any and all help and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Saphira is CKC registered, but I can register the puppy AKC!!
She is sagging a tad now from puppies and age...she is 5 now! She had a wonderful topline....LOL!!!
I thought about using Buddy to get red puppies, but I don't want leggy pups.....even tho she is a lowrider and a true one......thinking maybe of using Shae?

I think between buddy or shae the pups will be awesome. Shae has produced some of those feux blue/tans...Eridox says they are dilute carriers....not sure if it was shae's doing or laila's doing. Buddy has produced whole litters of english creams. He does throw black and tans as well. He doesn't carry for chocolate/tan not to my knowledge. Hope that helps you to some degree.

Shae looks like the best option for her of your own boys. She needs a better rear and her shoulder set moved slightly back, and he looks to be better than her in both departments.

Thanks Kathleen!! I am thinking Shae also even tho I have Buddy on my site. The more I look at him tho the more I am thinking no and Shae would make the better mate for her for her last litter! My vet LOVES Saphira....LOL and the main reason why I am breeding her one last time....he wants a female from her....hehe!! The pup will be a gift tho from me to them cause Angie loves my puppies and is such a great friend now!! I know they are insisting paying for her but I won't let them......I have just really grown to respect him and her and value his opinions and his professionalism as a vet and he studied the reproduction and is going to use one of my males to experiment in frozen AI.... He does AI but they have never done the frozen and he wants to try it and I want to freeze some.....so what better way......LOL!!!

Ok Shae & Saphira will be bred as soon as she is in standing heat!!! Woohooo....hoping this weekend!!!

The first one was a choc based red dapple girl!! The second one my daughter has and his name is "Dude" and he is a long choc based red!! We wish we wouldn't have neutered him now cause he turned out gorgeous!!

We had our 1st confirmed tie this morning! 35 minute tie!! Woot Woot!!!

Saphira on day 51. She is due April 5th and getting big......her ninies are almost dragging the ground!!

No nothing....I think she is holding out on me til last minute.....LOL!!

She's waiting until night time so you can stay up all night with her. Mine always do that.

She can have them now, I'm home! lol

Her temp keeps dropping since last night.....today is 63 days with her last tie.....I have NEVER had a female go past 63 days....so she is gonna make it a first and last for me I think....LMBO......she is driving me BONKERS waiting in anxiety for 2 days for this litter!!
