Re: Taxes
I hate them Sherry but I have only paid them once for my dogs.....last year he told me NOT to pay them. I take them in every year and he figures them up and says he will tell me when I need to or not. He says I still fall into the "hobby" catagory and therefor don't have to pay them yet. I guess when it is your main income and you profit over $5,000, then you have to considering paying them here where I live! It is different in every state. I trust him and he is very well known in our tri state counties! He publishes articles and gives people all kinds of things to consider when filing. He is wonderful and top notch and we have been dealing with him for years!!! Every year I have shown a loss of between 2-3,000 or more! I laugh when people ask if I make tons of money or assume I do!! Maybe some day I will.....but right now.....I profit nada in the long run!!
Re: Taxes
No Joke... no money to be made @ all. Last year was a 30,000 dollar loss. If I didn't take in rescues or do medical expenses, I would have it made in the green . My other friend just got her vet bill from last year 19,000.00. It's amazing what we spend at the doctors offices. No wonder our vets love us so much.
