Ok, so if Mylee turns out pregnant(which I think she is) what should I start feeding her? I've heard puppy food, yogurt, and cottage cheese. Is there anything else? Thanks for the help! Very Happy

I usually start mine on all that 4 wks in......you can start her on dry puppy food for now if you want, but she will need the calcium when those babies really start growing!! Good luck and can't wait! Very Happy

Ok so I started Mylee on the puppy food last week and she would eat it as long as I stood in the kitchen. But for the last two days she hasn't been eating at all. I've tried putting ham cubes in the food but all she does is eat the ham cubes and wont eat the food. She sniffs at it and then walks away. I'm leaving the food down all day just in case she decides to eat. Any advice?

Some dogs also go through the human equivelant of "Morning sickness" she'll get her appetite back soon Smile

You can try chicken broth poured over her kibble...

Well after about a day of the chicken broth she stopped eating it so I added cottage cheese and she ate that for about a day. Mad
But I made some chicken and rice tonight(about enough for 15 people my mom said) and she inhaled it! Tomorrow morning I'm going to petsmart or petco to get food samples! I'm thinking she's hungry but just doesn't like the puppy food I'm feeding her. Found the solution! YEAH! woohoo

Also wanted to ask, how much you guys feed.
She's eating Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice Puppy Formula both dry and wet(mixed together). I feed her 1/3 cup three times a day.

I free feed most of mine, they usually go back to food a few times a day,BUT If they start to look a little thin..I suppliment or leave food out longer..If they start to look a little heavy...I weigh them and then start cutting back accordingly(Dixie and Molly are my chunkers, that gain weight easy)
