Hello from Ohio!

Hello my name is Tempest..I heard of this forum through Karen, I've know her for about 5 or 6 years.. I own two longhair dachshunds, Imani chocolate and tan 7 years old and Juno cream 10 months old (from Karen's Sasha and Nugget)... I used to breed but for now I'm done with it...I'm 20 years old and in college and engaged so no time for adorable dachshund puppies but I sure do miss having 4 or so puppies running around! I will probably get back into breeding when I'm way older and settled down in a house but for now I'm working on bettering my knowledge on breeding I admit I was very ignorant and too young with the 3 litters I've had :/ but anyways I LOVE dachshunds I can't stay away from the breed! I was always drawn to the various coats, patterns and colors! It's just too fun...And dachshunds are more of a durable spunky small breed dogs. Thing is I'm so drawn to dachshunds I'm having a difficult time deciding on which large breed dog I would like that's as diverse as the dachshund..I probably won't get a large dog until I graduate but I'm researching in the meantime.... Wow I've been blabbing on lol! Anyways I look forward to being active on this website!!

Congrats on the engagement.....I didn't know!!

Tempest is who actually taught me all about pedigrees and what to look for and she helped me with conformation and with the creams colors on what is a true english cream and what is an american cream!! I have her and Daniel to thank for helping me get started and teaching me in the very beginning!!! Don't let her age fool you!! So when she was wanting a cream and I had Juno.......I owed her a ton of gratitude for teaching this old lady some basics about dachshunds...LMBO.......I gave her a good deal on him and I trusted her!!!
I am privledged to have you as a member here with us!!!
