Ebony & Rocky!

Ebony just came into heat and I decided to breed her to Rocky. Ebony is a tiny petite little girl, solid black & about 9 lbs and she is a tad leggy so I decided to breed her to Rocky to bring down the legs on the puppies!

My reaction = Love and Shae said to tell you "Mommy I cannot help it if I am a pee pee monster....I am a good boy." He said "please make sure my belly band isn't pink is all I ask."

As much as I love Shae......I am thinking of breeding Ebbers to Rocky for choc & black solids with no points and the pups would carry for pie! This way I won't end up with a whole litter of blacks to sell. She isn't quite ready to be bred yet....another 2 days I think.......so this is something I am pondering.....both boys would compliment her.......Shae has a nicer topline.....but I could get more color this way. Hmmmmmmm.......pondering, pondering!

I would LOVE a solid black boy.....that carries for chocolate and pie.

I have decided to use Rocky! I just think I can sell solid choc's & blacks much easier than a whole litter of blacks and I really want to see what these two throw together!
Ebony will be up for sale after this litter I do believe again.....I have to cut back on my numbers once again cause hubby is riding my butt about having 20 dogs in the house.....LOL!! Plus if I want to keep any back....I have to make room for new babies.......this is a decision us breeders must make and it is not the easiest one to make.....do we sell our retired dogs or keep them till their last days.......very very tough decision to make!! I have found that the ones I raise from puppy hood (8 wks) are much harder to place than ones that I bought much older. She must go to a pet home only and it must be a great one where there are no little kids! Ebbers isn't real fond of little kids running thru the house.....she likes to nip their heels or grab their pant legs. She has never bitten or anything like that....just nips....never left a mark on my grandson....but he makes her a tad nervous. I will sell her for $100 or even $50 with a promise to spay or she will be $200 spayed (my cost)!

We also had our 1st confirmed tie with these 2 today!!!

Dottie's pups will all be gone to their new homes by then so I will be ready for new babies!! I can handle 2 litters.....no more than that at one time tho. I may be delivering 2 girls at once tho which will be fun.....LOL!!!
