What is Canine Vestibular Syndrome

I had a customer call who just lost one of their babies She is a repeat customer and has 4 doxies and her little 5 year old girl finally had to be put down . She had a stroke and just didn't make it back to them. The vet at first thought it was Canine Vestibular Syndrome. It turned out not to be, but I thought it was a very interesting topic since I had not heard of this before.
