After seeing several doxie breeders recently broadcast live births I am sooo excited to do the same with my own litters. What a cool idea! I also noticed how many people it pulled in and they were nice numbers! I just ordered a pretty nice quality webcam so i'll get to test it out in a couple weeks and see how the picture is and how it will go doing a live delivery.

I won't be using sound though because i deliver in the main living space of my house and i have a big family that comes and goes, don't want to broadcast their conversations or my toddlers squealing over sharing toys lol.

I don't intend to leave the cam running after the birth. I might turn it on once a week for a day, mostly for my buyers to check in a see some live action.

I would love to do it as well, but Darren isn't too keen on the idea. Its so fun getting to watch other people's live births and getting to know other people. Plus its neat for puppy buyers to get to watch their new baby being born, and feeling like they got to be included. When I was in my early years of high school and into the whole MSN webchat thing with my friends, my mom bought me a webcam from Stapples on black friday....I really havn't used it since and don't even know if I still have it. I'm going to look around, and if I find it I may be broadcasting my upcoming litters live as well. I would just go out and buy one, but Taffy is due in 2 weeks and my memory card for my camera decided to break Rolling Eyes so I have to go buy a new one of those first

You can always turn the camera off if things go awry and you get nervous!! But it is also nice if you have people who can help you thru the rough parts if you have any!!
I've had more good experiences than bad! The important thing is to STAY CALM!! happy

She'll be at 63 days on March 3rd, we're going to start the full-time babysitting shifts though on February 27th though LOL. Me and Darren try to plan our work schedules those weeks around eachother so someone is home all the time, but with my school schedules during the day while he works sometimes its an impossibility during some parts in the day.

Didn't mean to hijack the post LOL
