Antifreeze Poisoning
I knew Antifreeze was bad, but I never knew how much it would take. I found this article interesting. Found @ http://www.petplace.com/dogs/antifreeze-tip/page1.aspx?utm_source=dogcrazynews001et&utm_medium=email&utm_content=petplace_article&utm_campaign=dailynewsletter
here is an indepth article on it: http://www.petplace.com/dogs/ethylene-glycol-toxicosis-in-dogs/page1.aspx
Antifreeze is a common poison. It has a sweet taste and pets will consume it readily. A little more than 3 tablespoons could be lethal for a 22 pound (10 kg) dog.
Antifreeze poisoning causes nervous systems signs and severe kidney failure. It can be fatal if not treated very soon after ingestion (within 4 to 8 hours). Pets that have ingested antifreeze may act "drunk" within 30 minutes to 12 hours after ingestion, depending on the amount ingested.

Re: Antifreeze Poisoning
Very good article!
My dad always lets me know when he uses antifreeze outside, and I'm glad he does!
