Ireland x Gunner

Ireland is expecting her first litter with Gunner, due Dec. 23rd! At approx 28 days preg, she is already looking to be getting a little bit of a tummy We are looking forward to all longhairs in red, cream, black/tan/cream. There is a slight possibility of chocolates with this litter also. Puppies will be AKC registered, some may be available with Full registration after evaluation.

I may be a tad bit BIAS over this breeding.....but these are going to be some SWEET babies!!!!

I am guessing 6 babies like Ebbers and 4 girls 2 boys!!

She's enormous. Goodness-best of luck with her whelping.

Can't wait to see those babies and watch them grow.

I think if she doesn't have thsee babies soon, I'm gonna go crazy with worry, lol! I was nowhere near this nervous with my summer litter. I have no idea why this one is getting me stressed. Maybe because Ireland is truly one of the special ones to me (not that I don't love all my dogs, but hopefully you know what I mean!!) and I have a feeling that even when she retires, she won't be going anywhere but the couch

She is at a safe time now hopefully 58 days from the only witnessed tie, or 61 days from the first day I put them together.

Poor girl cannot get comfy, has been doing some light nesting, restless and clingy this evening. She has had some mucous discharge, loose bowels, and only ate a little this morning but none of her dinner And she loves her food!! Usually stands by while I pour it, then digs in. Tonight she stood there while I poured, sniffed it then walked away, LOL!!

Keep us posted.......I am sooo looking forward to this litter!!!

Anymore???

Finally! I think we are done with 4, 3 girls and a boy. Puppy #2 was stuck and sac was broken. We ended up going to the vet and we both thought that pup was dead (almost an hr stuck) bit when he went in to try and pull it, it licked him. He was able to get her out and she was bigger than the first, but he said if her leg hadnt got caught sorta sideways, she wouldve had her just fine. She weighed 8 oz. Once chunker was outta the way, she had the last two within an hour. Another girl 6.5 oz and a boy 7.1 oz. All are good, babies nursing, momma resting. If I had to guess colors at this point I would say crm female, red female, blk/tan female (maybe blk/crm, shes still a little damp) and cream male. Of course they could all be red since Ive never producec a cream lol!!

I think they are all beautiful of course and I just love all the different shades of colors!! I say 2 creams & 2 reds.....1 cream for sure!!! Good job to you & Ireland and so happy all are healthy!!
