Swelling

Scooby and Leeroy got in a little tussle last night and today Leeroy's paw and a little bit of his leg is swollen. He is limping but will put some weight on it but not for long. Should I take him to the vet or is there someway I can reduce the swelling? I don't think it's broken, I can move it around without him yelping.

Sounds like it might be infected......check for wounds or bite marks. He may need antibiotics!! Keep a close eye on him and if nothing else....get him to the vet ASAP!!

He does have a bite mark. I'll try to get him in this weekend.

Clean it out really really good with peroxide and put some triple antibiotic cream on it til you can get him in!! Do that a few times a day!!
