Valentines Day!

I know this is just a Hallmark Holiday......but curious to know who celebrates it and who doesn't.....if you do.....what did you get or buy for your significant other?????
We bought a Sleep Number bed so hopefully we will both enjoy it!! Hubby also surprised me with a card & chocolates yesterday cause I had a really down/bad day!! I also got my Dachshund PJ's delivered today.....was super happy about them...they are nice!!

Hubby got off work late last night so I'm making him a special dinner tonight of shrimp,fettacinni,white sauce,salad,garlic bread and carrot cake!


He suprised me last night,with a dozen roses(pretty pink ones)a very sweet card,chcocolates,a coffe grinder(For coffe and seeds and spices...I've been begging for one)And a very special I love you
A few days ago,we went to pick me out a pair of earrings,I'm very picky so he doesn't buy for my blind anymore..lol..

We just broke down and bought ourselves a new mattress set from Sears,I have to say..Our old set sucked big time..He wanted a King size(of course)I wanted a queen..lol..I won...

We just don't have the space for a king,he's crazy..lol..We keep our boys' clothes in baskets in our room(They are 6 1/2 and 5,they make messes if we don't keep them away)

We bought an extented Queen sleep number. It wasn't the cheapest one, nor the most expensive, we bought the one in the middle.....we actually put it in lawaway for 3 mths but hoping to have it paid for in full by next month. I am a 45 and he is a 35....LOL!!! I have so many back, neck, and shoulder problems and sleeping issues that my neurologist suggested if we could afford one, to get one. I am anxiously awaiting to get it paid in full and have it delivered and set up for us. I wanted a King but there was a $600 difference, so hubby won....LOL!! We do have room for a King, but would of had to buy a new headboard.....hehehe!!! My daughter is getting our Queen size bed, it is a posturepedic with pillow top and memory foam.....LOL!! She is happy about that!! Giving her bed to our grandson then to sleep in.
I will let you know how it is when we get it!

My sons birthday is on Valentines day so we go out to eat and have cake and i he was my gift for the rest of my Valentines LOL !!!! Hubby got me a nice card no chocolates he knows better have not ate candy in a long time

We got our set on no interest for 2 years! That should be long enough for us to pay it off without having the interest ring up at the end

Valentine's day is my younger sisters birthday, so that's pretty much all the association that date has for me. I actually find the day irritating because of that, lol.

We usually do, but we are both poor at the moment LOL...getting ready to put a new driveway, siding, windows, and exterior doors on the house. Plus, Darren had work, and then school till late right after that so we didn't have time....but maybe we'll do something this weekend

And I almost forgot,last night with my coffe grinder came a webcam!(my old one went to dirt)
Now I can give live show of my babies too!!!!

Don't feel bad Alex.....I know what it's like to be poor during holidays....LOL!!

Ughhh......I need a new webcam too.....LOL!! Jealous!!!

My PJ's did come today too, so that helped LOL They are super cute I should have ordered more

Hubby and i went out to dinner at applebees. No gifts this year just an awesome dinner with yummy drinks. Their mudslides are like candy lol.

This year was a bit different for me because I am going through a seperation. I do have a boyfriend now and we don't have much money. We both had to work and we celebrated by having dinner at Chick-fil-a.

That sounds good to me i love Chick-fil-a

I'd of been happy with cheeseburgers, candles, the fireplace lit and a movie!!!

Chick-fil-a is great to and I totally know what it's like to get divorced.....I had 3 kids under 5yrs and on my own with no help. A yr and a half later I met my now hubby of 10 1/2 yrs....13 1/2 total together!! Hang in there hun....it gets better!!!
