Same here.

I registered the entire litter to myself and then gave transfer paperwork. I registered two of the puppies limited and two full and then when we kept one of the limited girls, I had to pay to lift the restriction on myself. Laughing But that way, AKC got their money and nobody can make an end run around and register the puppies full with AKC. It wouldn't stop them from going to UKC or CKC, but then you can only do so much.

I think it was $20 or $25. I registered the puppies at 6 weeks old and at that time Junie was still so sick that I didn't feel I'd be able to keep her, so registered her limited. When my parents decided to keep her, I lifted the restricted and did a co-own so I can show her in bred-by. She'll never be bred-she's going to be a pet, but I think she's finishable. We'll see what the judges think though. cool
