Has anyone ever had a dog have a blockage from eating toys and stuffing ?? I have a friend whos dachshund just had surgery last night to remove some of his intestine because of a blockage from chew toys and who knows what Shocked Just wondered if anyone knows how long it takes to recover and any info because she is asking me and i have no idea i feel bad for her and told her i would ask all of you !!

I haven't ever had to go to the vet, but Taffy can't have beds or stuffed toys left in her crate because she'll eat the stuffing. When we first noticed she was pooping pure stuffing LOL so we have to be careful with her when it comes to that.

Yeah mine are bad about chewing stuff up so i just try to not give them stuffed toys Very Happy The lady that her dog had the blockage sews alot and they found thread in his intenstines poor guy Sad
