Prayers needed!

I have to start some intense testing. Today I went to the Neurologist to see why I am shaking and having some other issues. I had an EEG done on me. For 1 1/2 hrs they had me hooked up with 20 some wires and tested my brain waves & patterns I guess. They did several other tests while I was hooked up to see how my brain reacted. I get the results next week. I have to have a MRI done on my brain also and ct scan on my chest again. They want to rule out Cushings, Parkinsons and Christians Disease he said. I have to go in Friday morning for the works on blood work. Let's just say I was not a happy camper today!!

This is really hard on me right now. I am having dejavu from 4 yrs ago when I was first diagnosed with my Sarcoid. I am a strong person, but one can only take so much. I am scared and worried about my babies future!

I also will be asking for some more help to run this forum. I will need people to be able to take over the photo contest and to manage this forum!! Or I will be forced to shut it down.

Most of you don't know this but I was asked to stop posting on another forum cause someone thought I was intentionally trying to belittle them. So I most likely will only view on it from now on and not post. Just wanted to let those of you know this that are on that other forum!!

I also will be asking for some more help to run this forum. I will need people to be able to take over the photo contest and to manage this forum!! Or I will be forced to shut it down.

I;d also be glad to help, if someone explains how LOL. That is ridiculus though about the other forum. Its amazing how people can't take constructive criticism

It's hard to explain on what to do.....I just played around until I figured things out....LOL!
The sad part is.....it was constructive critism towards everyone in the breeding field.....I don't recall singleling anyone out.
Some people just don't have open minds and only have closed ones!!

Well I have bad news & good news I guess! Bad news is I do have Cushings Disease but it is mild enough for now he thinks that he isn't real concerned at the moment with it. He also thinks I have sleep Apnea which could be causing many of my other problems. I go next Tues to the Sleep Center to spend the night and then we go from there. That Sleep number bed isn't going to get here fast enough.
He thinks from the lack of sleep and poor sleep that I get, along with the prednisone I take, my tremors may lesson if I keep my stress level low and get more sleep. I also have to excercise in a low impact program and loose 35lbs!! Easier said than done!! No more caffiene for 2 wks also to see how that helps and I have to drink tons of water!! (YUCK)

You can do it. It is amazing the things we can do when we put our minds to it.

Hope your sleep test will give you the answers you need, so you can begin feeling better.

If I can loose the weight and go down or completely off the prednisone, he thinks the cushings will go away. He doesn't think I have a tumor, which is good!!!
I also need to loose the weight for my sleep issues, neck & back, but I have had sleep issues since I was a teen and I was tiny then.
Getting old SUCKS!!! LOL!!!

Prayers for you Karen !! If you have weight watchers program by you it is the best and easy way to loose weight if not i could send you some info that i have and you could try to do the program from home !! Just a thought I love the program Sleep apnea is bad news hopefully if you get that figured out it will help some . I will help in any way i can

I am thinking of doing weight watchers at home.......any help would be great!! 35lbs seems like a lot......but I will be happy to shed it.......I can't stand this weight on me.......YUCKO!!!

Awww 35 is not much really I started weight watchers in March and i have lost almost 50 pounds and didnt seem to hard at all Well at times it did but My friend i work with at the winery just started 2 weeks ago and has lost 12 pounds already I f you need help with anything not just weight watchers you no you can ask me i will do anything i can to help you get better

I'll give all the "Keep up the good work" and "great job"s you can handle!

My personal goal is 50 but the doc says 35 is a must and if I loose a little more, it's ok! When you are 5ft 1in and 178lbs with "my" issues......my hubby is 5ft 8 and 170! It is mostly in my midsection which is where you gain it from pred and then the cushings.
I would love to look like this again!!! I was 128lbs here.....4 mths before diagnosed with my Sarcoidosis!!!


This would be even better.......my wedding day at 118lbs!!

My parents used weight watchers and lost a ton of weight! I probably should look into it too LOL all the stress and junk food eating I've been doing while in college has been catching up to me
