Ok not sure if this is where it needs to go or not but.... I am trying to learn what a good doxie head is so please help me. This is Cowboy. Does his head look like it's supposed to?

Heads are hard for me. I know what I like when I see it, but it's hard for me to describe what I don't like about a less than perfect head. Cowboy's head, to me, looks perfectly acceptable. I think he needs a little more "roman" to the nose, but he doesn't look to have much stop, I like his ear set (when they're perked up, they look like they'd sit nicely), his head isn't domey (domie?), he looks to have nice underjaw. He looks like he could use a little muscle in his jaws, but if he's young, that will likely come with time.

Somewhere on the Haven, there's a boy with a head just to die for. I'm looking and not finding it yet, but I'll keep searching. I am blanking on his name, otherwise I'd just search for his name.

Overall,I like his head...but..He seems to have too much dewlap, not sure if it's how you are holding him or his age, most grow into it...some don't...Like his ear set,his ears seem rather large for his face though, also may grow into that..looks like they lay over his shoulder..

A head is I feel is mostly interpertation, some like them more roman nosed(I think that depends on the balance of the dog) some like thicker muzzles...It's how you are going with the standard...
